I have been working in a private counseling setting since 2012. My counseling techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic counseling and interpersonal counseling approaches. These techniques are always tailored to the clients' individual needs. I have extensive experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, teenage stress and self-esteem issues, and individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, due to domestic violence or military service. I am trained in Neuro and Biofeedback to help student and professional athletes to improve their sports performance.
In a collaborative effort, as well as a safe and non-judgmental environment, my clients and I work on establishing healthy coping skills, improving their ability to communicate effectively, learning to rationalize thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and improving their sports performance by learning relaxation techniques and increased ability to focus.
