Welcome to my practice. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and identify the underlying beliefs driving your behaviors, shaping your habits, and impacting your relationships. We will work on a little going back, a lot on the present with a focus on the future. I ask questions and give feedback. I am not a head nodding type of therapist with long annoying blocks of silence. I put things out there for you to consider. If it resonates with you, we go with it. If it doesn't, we don't.
You will learn to better manage negative thoughts, emotions and behaviors, allowing you to meet your own personal goals. I utilize different therapeutic approaches to help you live your full potential including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, and others.
I have 14 years of experience as a licensed marriage therapist and over 33 years in the human service field. I work with teens, adults, and couples.
