I feel therapy can be beneficial to all people and that personal peace starts with a shift in perspective. I feel building a strong relationship is the most important part to the therapeutic process. I like working with clients that want learn how to better handle life and its stressors. Reaching out for support can be very hard, but working together to move forward can be a very healthy choice for you, your family, work/other relationships, and your overall level of mental/emotional wellbeing.
I have gained experience with a wide variety of mental health concerns and life issues. My priority is establishing a safe, secure, and trusted relationship with my clients so that they have the space to be their true self to create the change they are seeking. I utilize CBT, DBT, Interpersonal, Person Centered, and Positive Psych. methods.
My approach includes utilizing validation and empathy, curiosity, and therapeutic change that feels manageable. I want my clients to leave the office feeling more resilent, hopeful, and with improved perspective. I provide therapy for individuals, kids 12 and up, and couples.
