Prior to opening my private practice in Georgetown, I worked at the Kolmac Clinic on K Street in Washington, DC, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. I work with clients to improve self-esteem, identify what it is that they really want in their lives and help them to improve the overall quality of their lives and thrive more fully.
Psychotherapy is a partnership between the client and the therapist. Life is to be enjoyed, not endured and it is through explaining themselves that clients rediscover their authentic selves. It is through the therapeutic partnership that clients can experience being heard and seen for who they really are.
I work with clients individually, as couples, and in groups. I hold a MS in Organizational Counseling, and Post-Masters Certificate in Clinical/Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins School of Professional Studies in Business and Education. I am licensed to practice in both the District of Columbia and Maryland.
