As a psychoanalytic therapist my job is to be with you in a way that is helpful. I listen closely to how you communicate in order to learn about who you are and what you are going through. I participate by communicating to you what I think and wonder about what you have told me. In this way I feel that we can learn to empathize with you in a new way.
Your safety and wellbeing are my primary focus and I will treat you with dignity, respect, and care. While a long-term therapy process can be uncomfortable at times, it can be one of the most gratifying and meaningful experiences of a person’s life.
