Hi, my name is Gracia Holman, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a bilingual/ bicultural therapist fluent in both English and Spanish with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I work with those who have symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, OCD and PTSD usually as a result of traumatic experiences. By working with me, you can expect to have a safe and judgement free space, I will consider your cultural background, belief system and other aspects that have shaped the way you think, feel and see the world around you. You can also expect a bit of sense of humor every now and then.
I will work towards guiding you into gaining a healthy sense of peace and happiness in your every day life even when there are many things outside of our control. I will help you learn useful tools and techniques in order to improve your emotional well being. I can support you to learn to take care of both your body and your mind.
Working with clients has taught me to be mindful of the fact that every client perceives the world in a unique way. In order for me to be of any help, I need to adapt my approach to their needs.
