Hello, I am a therapist graduated from UNLV's CACREP-accredited counseling program. I am accepting new clients in person and through telehealth. My areas of expertise are assisting with any mental distress-related symptoms and supporting clients in achieving self-leadership and self-compassion. I have been a Vegas local for 16 years, after I lived in China for 19 years. The experience of being part of both the dominant culture and the non-dominant culture in different countries allows me to be able to be humble and hold space for clients’ different experiences.
I am certified in Hypnotherapy, Parts and Memory and Trauma-Focused CBT, and I also have trainings in IFS, EMDR, Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, and Compassionate Inquiry by Gabor Mate, as well as EFT and Gottman Method for couples and Minuchin's Family Systems Theory. I am also able to assist processing generational trauma and chronic developmental stress.
I would like to see individuals (18+), couples, and families. I am able to see minors if their parent/s are able to be part of it as in family therapy. My approach is overall non-pathological and person-centered. I believe true healing and authentic changes only happen on the levels of our unconscious, neuropathway, and body nervous systems.
