About
I specialize in reproductive counseling and enjoy supporting individuals anywhere on the reproductive spectrum: family planning, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy and postpartum, and early childhood parenting. I recognize each person's reproductive experience is unique and comes with physical, relational, and emotional challenges that can be overwhelming to navigate alone. As a clinician I seek to create an atmosphere of safety and trust that allows you to show up as you are. Common themes in my work include: transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, loneliness, and perfectionism.
In session I enjoy integrating interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) research with CBT & mindfulness strategies to meet your goals and work with instead of against your brain and nervous system. I believe that understanding our own "biological equipment" is key to shifting from coping with symptoms to rewiring the brain towards healing, relationships, and hope.
