We are all taught that gender is binary. But did you know that isn't true? We know now that gender is fluid, a spectrum that encompasses a wide range of identities from gender non-conforming, to agender, and genderqueer. Individuals within the trans and non-binary community often grapple with a fear of embracing their authentic selves, while contending with societal & familial pressures. However, concealing our trans and non-binary identities is unsustainable. I believe that everyone exploring their gender identity deserves a safe, empathetic space to navigate their own internalized transphobia, because trans is beautiful!

I earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, with my journey of support for the trans and non-binary communities including the Colors LGBTQ Youth Counseling Center, Pride Recovery LA, and Westwind Recovery. I am part of an amazing private practice, Gender Wellness of Los Angeles, specializing in issues related to gender diversity.

Having struggled to embrace my own trans identity, I have come out the other side happier & more prosperous than ever before. The first step is often the hardest.
