My name is Grace, and I am a white queer woman offering Telehealth from Portland, Oregon. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA folks as well as people of color, disabled/chronically ill folks, and others who face intersecting forms of oppression. I have experience supporting folks struggling with childhood trauma (especially sexual abuse and religious trauma), disordered eating, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and foster care and adoption. I believe that therapy is political and that systemic oppression is an ongoing trauma that must be acknowledged in the therapeutic relationship.
I am working towards certification through the Center for Body Trust to provide weight-inclusive care that challenges systemic weight stigma in society and in eating disorder treatment. I utilize feminist and anti-racist therapy, parts work, EMDR, and narrative therapy. I can also provide letters for gender-affirming healthcare and surgeries.
My style is warm and relational and my orientation is rooted in collective liberation and authenticity as a human right. The values of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, collective liberation, and body sovereignty are my guideposts in this work. I offer a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I hope you’ll reach out!
