I have a passion to help people cope with trauma, anxiety, and stress through individual and couples work. Clients describe me as warm, supportive, encouraging, and gently challenging. As your therapist, I will come along side you and provide the guidance and support you need to work through your challenges.
I also love working with couples! Whether you're struggling to connect or are fighting a lot, I have to training and experience to help you grow together. I really enjoy working with newlyweds and engaged couples; helping them start their marriage off on the right foot is a joy and privilege.
I am trained in many different treatments but use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and EMDR most often. I utilize the Gottman Method for couples therapy. We’ll work together to determine which treatment will work best for you. I see clients virtually, and in-person at my home office near downtown Oconomowoc.
Because I am married to a combat veteran, I have a soft sport for military, first responders, and their family members. I understand the extra challenges that come with serving your country or community, and the strain that it can put on an individual or on a marriage. I consider it a true privilege to help those who serve overcome the traumas they endured.
