I am a counseling intern who provides a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space for clients of all backgrounds. While I enjoy working with and learning from individuals across the lifespan, I have a particular passion for helping children and adolescents navigate emotional, social, and developmental challenges. I can engage with all individuals in person or over telehealth, and am willing to be flexible with a potential blended schedule. I am committed to ongoing learning and work under supervision to ensure ethical, effective care.
I try to meet people where they are at, rather than molding them to my theoretical orientation. Although I mainly use CBT and ACT, I am constantly learning more about other theoretical orientations and how to apply them. For children, I try to incorporate elements of play therapy and allow them to communicate their needs in their natural language of play.
