I am a licensed clinical social worker in Elmhurst, IL. My experience includes helping adults with severe mental illness with their daily activities as well as facilitating group therapy at a residential treatment facility; working as a parent coach and counselor for families with children with attachment disorders; counseling individuals, couples, and families with a variety of different issues; as a school social worker in a private school; providing training to school staff on attachment disorders; and consulting for other psychotherapists.

The individuals who come to me for support are those struggling with eating disorders. We work together to identify goals that are important to you, and address some underlying self esteem concerns and lack of power within your life. Together, we take your power back, eliminating the compulsive need to control food. The second population I serve are those with marital and relationship issues. I have completed Level 1 training of the Gottman method and utilize the strategies to help couples identify the ways in which they sabotage their relationship and restore the friendship that originally brought you together as a couple.
