I've been a clinical psychologist for 34 years, giving clients the support and strategies they need to deal with anxiety, depression, negative self-esteem, stress management, organizational skills, motivation, trauma and tragedy, and grief and loss. I have had the best results by using COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT), and Mindfulness Meditation. I also use HYPNOSIS if and when appropriate. I also offer Live, Online VIDEO COUNSELING, which is more convenient for many clients, and very helpful to clients for whom distance and transportation are obstacles to getting the help they want and need.
In addition to CBT, I also specialize in HYPNOTHERAPY, which I use to help clients Stop Smoking, Lose Weight, Reduce Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Break Bad Habits, and Improve Concentration. I also work extensively with adolescents, dealing with lack of motivation, school performance, self-esteem, social interactions, and issues with parents and peers.
Every client is treated with the utmost empathy and respect, and a warm, low key, calm approach, the way I would want one of my family members to be treated. I also work very well with adolescents, using my 30 years of working in public school districts. I know how to build TRUST in and a COMFORT LEVEL with me, which is extremely important with teens.
