I aim to help my clients experience more vitality, connection, focus and flexibility in their lives, depending on what they are looking for. My clients often seek relief from patterns of painful feelings, negative thoughts and self-sabotaging behaviors that stem from their experience of growing up in particular worlds that were traumatic or difficult or confusing. We work on understanding and change.
I offer a flexible, collaborative approach that evolves as we get to know who you are and what you care about, as well as what you’re sick of. Over time we learn about where your discouragement or hopelessness came from, untangling and dissolving what diminishes you. We also explore what brings you deeper joy.
I work well with people who have tried therapy but found it somehow wanting; who are skeptical about therapy or afraid to try it; who have doubted they could find someone who could deal with their story; who are afraid of feeling; who have no idea where to start; or who know what they want to work on but also suspect there’s more to it than that.
