In my experience people often try to resolve whatever problem they have before seeking out therapy. It's usually when they realize they can't do it alone that they reach out. I know therapy can be intimidating, it requires vulnerability to open up about your personal life, in hopes that you will find some healing. My goal in therapy is to help develop a connection that allows us to explore perspectives in hopes that this will allow for insight and growth to occur. I am engaging, direct, and care about you being able to heal in whatever way this may look.

The best way to describe my approach is that I am honest, assertive, direct, and kind. I have experience working with people with substance use disorders, HIV, LGBTQ+, men’s issues, couples, relationships, various mental health concerns, EMDR, women's empowerment, mental health, self esteem, relationship counseling, to name a few.

I know it can be hard to open up and talk about personal things. My goal is to help you work through what ever situation you are going through. Honestly, if you are looking for a therapist, you’re already on the path towards a healthier you. My primary goal is to help you in whatever big or small way I can.
