Glyn Deputy, M.Ed, LMHC, brings a keen awareness of both the necessities and subtleties of surviving our human condition and reaching one’s full potential to his clients at the Poulsbo office. Glyn has worked with generational family issues in rural and frontier communities, has assisted students with all types of disability in pursuing higher education, and has gained exceptional skills in mental health and substance abuse diagnosis and treatment, having broad experience in community mental health services.
In addition, he continues to broaden and deepen his expertise in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, psychosis, adjustment disorders, learning and cognitive disorders, and impulse control disorders, as well as cultural and existential concerns at the Poulsbo office. He enjoys working with children, adolescents and young adults.
Glyn’s therapeutic approaches includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed approaches, Harm Reduction Psychotherapy Motivational Interviewing, and Developmental/Systems Approaches. He is currently accepting new counseling referrals at our Bainbridge Island office location.
