I specialize in working with individuals with several needs including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life stressors/transitions, family dynamic struggles, personality disorders, domestic violence history, postpartum depression/prenatal/fertility issues, self-esteem issues, and trauma history.
I use several evidence-based approaches to assist you with addressing your presenting needs. Some modalities I use include CBT, DBT, Client-Centered, and Trauma Informed Therapy. I utilized a strengths-based perspective. I enjoy assisting clients with reframing maladaptive thoughts/beliefs and learning how to utilize mindfulness regulation skills.
I feel that open communication and creating a safe space is necessary to build a healthy therapeutic relationship. I have been described by clients and those close to me as approachable, compassionate, and nonjudgmental.
