However, therapy can also be a confusing place because it involves unknowns and going to places we fear the most. It is in taking the step into the unknown that you realize more of who you are, what you need to live your best life and have satisfying connection with others, and I have the honor to be alongside this process.
I am a multicultural, psychodynamic therapist that looks through an anti-oppression lens, believing that social justice is a priority, not a suggestion. I focus on the impact of cultural and sociopolitical contexts and unmet childhood needs in relation to family (i.e., parents) on individuals.
As your therapist, you will experience me as honest, open, genuine, warm, active, and encouraging. I see therapy as a collaborative space in which I meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your healing journey. Many of you have not had a therapist and so I want this experience to be a positive and empowering experience.
