Private Practice Acct- Are you struggling to find purpose? Do you feel out of control and overwhelmed? I would love to talk to you. You are not alone. You are not broken, you are just human. I want to start off by saying you have worth. Your life has value. Your hopes, dreams, and opinions matter. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I focus with, OCD, anxiety, depression, identity issues, life transitions, family dynamics, and religious trauma. I can also work from a theological perspective and I have a particular interest in helping those who feel at odds with or harmed by institutionalized religion and the church.
I have specialized training to tread Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety. We will focus on behavioral strategies with each: Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) with OCD, Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD, Behavioral Activation for Depression, and Exposure therapy for Anxiety. Each with a collaborative and supportive approach.
I believe finding meaningful actions that are centered around self-acceptance and hope to be central to our fulfillment and well being. Everyone is capable of learning the skills necessary to empower themselves and find purpose. You may just need a little help getting started and that is ok.
