I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am Bilingual in English and Spanish. I earned my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2002. I have worked in various settings for over 25 years, working with Children and Families. I have worked in a crisis house providing crisis interventions to families on an outpatient basis. I have experience working with school counselors and psychologist to help students.
I have worked with families to develop treatment plans according to their needs. I have experience in working with adults and adolescents with dual diagnosis (mental disorders and substance abuse). I use a psychological approach with emphasis in Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques, Family Systems and Solution Focused Plans.
I specialize in providing personalized treatment plans for families with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, parent-child conflict, marital relationships and working with blended families.
