I'm an LPC with 9+ years of children/adolescents counseling experience. I specialize in helping children and teens with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and suicidal ideation by using a theory called ACT which helps children and teenagers accept their thoughts and feelings and commit to making meaningful changes in their lives.
We can work together to help your child regulate their emotions and cope with unavoidable ups and downs of life. Let us work together to help your child to accept their reality, to understand that negative emotions are part of life, and that acknowledging their emotions can help them get past them.
