I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist, and in the last six years, I have been focusing on helping clients through their healing and self-discovery journey. After working with Active-Duty service members, my practice evolved from general mental wellness to trauma-focused therapy with an emphasis on disorders comorbid to it. I treat teenagers, children, and adults ages 7 to 65. Our first sessions will consist of a biopsychosocial assessment that will allow us to build rapport.
I consider myself an eclectic therapist as I am firm believer that one size does not fit all, especially in therapy. My main background is in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFBT.
This process will be a collaborative effort between you and me! Engagement, willingness to treatment, honesty, and commitment are key to therapeutic success. My goal is to provide a safe environment in which you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, views, beliefs, emotions and ideas with no judgment. I am always open to insight and feedback.
