Anger Management Training
This is a 15-session Skills Acquisition group. The primary focus of the group is to reduce and control verbal and physical aggression that results in negative personal, professional, and legal consequences. Group curriculum has several phases including education about the cognitive and neurological factors that make angry feelings turn into aggressive actions, how to recognize anger as it develops and how to make choices to manage the anger early in the process while you can still make good choices, techniques to help reduce anger and arousal, and techniques that improve healthy conflict resolution. Group has open enrollment.
