Addiction is a complex illness that has a lasting impact on a person and their entire family. Everyone's best intentions to heal or change can often result in outcomes that perpetuate suffering. The addiction cycle can feel like a rollercoaster with fleeting to no progress, or worse. There is a way off this ride. At Marin Family Recovery, we believe that a person's ability to change their life story and fully live a satisfying life is possible no matter how dark the starting place feels. Addiction is 100% treatable. With life there is always opportunity.
Marin Family Recovery is a small group of therapists working with clients in all of California. We draw from an array of modalities for working with underlying traumatic experiences, co-occuring mental health diagnoses, losing oneself in relationships, and offer tools to help shift tired perspectives on situations that keep a person feeling beyond help.
We are well versed in 12 step recovery and can provide some alternatives to this practice should it not be your thing. We also incorporate coaching tools to help you develop and successfully manage the life you've always known was waiting for you. We have openings! If I am not available, I have a team of therapists whom I've trained and closely supervise .
