My name is Ginka, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas. I have been in service to the community for the past four years working with families, couples, and adolescents. My areas of specialization include adolescents/teens, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, and anger management. Some of the modalities I employ are collaborative practices, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am delighted to provide support and understanding to my clients at PATH, and I believe that environments where open conversations happen are crucial to success and positive results.
My only goal is to provide value through guidance, and I like to engage my clients in a goal-oriented discussion. You will end up establishing your own goals. I communicate calmly and ask thought-provoking questions that will guide you into self-discovery. I will not create plans and goals for you, but I will guide you through creating your own.
Our first session will begin with an exploration of your history and discussing presenting or recurrent issues that may have triggered the need for help.
