I believe that the key to living a happier life is gaining a better understanding of yourself and the important relationships in your life. I believe that the reflection which happens inside the therapeutic alliance helps to lessen undesirable symptoms such as anxiety and depression. People come to therapy for a variety of reasons, but most people who make it to my office come because they have been suffering in some way. Therapy is a collaborative experience in which I help my clients to understand core struggles which cause pain and suffering in their lives.
I work with adults and couples in Katy, Cinco Ranch, and Fulshear. I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. I have helped my clients face challenges related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, low self-esteem, struggles in parenting, trauma, and relationship issues.
I provide psychodynamic, insight-oriented therapy informed by attachment theory, mindfulness, and research based on shame, vulnerability, and resiliency. I believe that everyone deserves to gain the benefits offered by therapy, and I enjoy seeing people from all different faiths, religions, races, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations.
