I specialize in helping adults build a resilient, strong sense of self. I understand how painful experiences cause wounds that impact relationships, work, and happiness, and are often the root cause of anxiety and depression. Together we create lasting change by lessening the impact of current symptoms such as anxiety and depression, while developing a deeper understanding of the root causes of each person’s struggles. I seek to understand each person’s experiences and the effects they have on their lives, past and present.
I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach that incorporates person-centered, feminist, and multicultural theories. I am inspired to work with individuals struggling with relationships, women's issues, life transitions, trauma, family of origin, and BIPOC/Asian American identity.
I use a relational approach to therapy that is warm, compassionate, and attuned. I also use expressive arts and sand tray as additional tools to connect and deepen one's sense of self. I am committed to providing a safe environment for individuals to work together towards healing and fulfillment.
