Mind Body Skills Groups These classes are based on the unique small group approach of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and are a powerful and effective union of research-based self care and self awareness techniques to help one deal with life changes, stress, pain and illness in a relaxed group setting. You learn mind-body methods that are used in hospitals, medical schools, and private practice in the US, and for trauma relief around the world.
Simple ways to use the mind-body connection to connect, clear and glow. Practical techniques for self-exploration, self-awareness, and self-care that relieve pain, anxiety and stress, while enhancing resilience to external stressors, and support the healing response, empathy, intuition and self compassion. Includes restorative imagery, self hypnosis, and biofeedback along with somatic meditation, mindfulness meditation and guided imagery - Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery - SMGI. You are encouraged to bring a notebook to jot down some of your inner-journey experiences. All levels of experience welcome!
