Every client has a narrative and I like to take time to understand the different parts of you. I am a queer, non-binary person (they/she) and have been a therapist for ten years. My background includes working with LGBTQIA+ individuals of various intersecting identities. My practice addresses: depression, anxiety, shame, identity exploration, complex family/cultural dynamics and emotional awareness. I also focus on clients managing major life transitions (relocations, chronic/medical illness, career changes, relationship shifts, etc). Currently licensed in Minnesota (in-person & telehealth) and Iowa (telehealth only).
I am a relational therapist first. I also incorporate a strengths-based approach by weaving together psychodynamic insights, parts work, and somatic methods. Every person's brain and body works at a different pace so my intention as a therapist is to build agency, foster hope, and create lasting, sustainable change on your own timeline.
