It is said, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life." I find that our beliefs and thoughts greatly impact our experience of life, and how we function. I hope to help improve skills for coping with many different conditions but also the stuff life throws at us, like decision making stress, relationship break down, and life transitions. I am best with Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional families. I encourage people who have stressful work in Caregiving, Medical, Legal, STEM, Management, Active/ Retired Military, and their family members to consider me. I have lived many lives and get what that is like.
I find creating a therapeutic relationship to partner with you is the most honest and helpful approach when trust, and safety is hard to do. I recommend unique coping skills, use metaphors/examples, and provide brief education to help you expand your understanding, review options together, make a decision, and "progress... but not perfection!
