About
My goal as a therapist is to help guide you toward authenticity while re-establishing interpersonal connections with those around you. Whether you’re looking to gain skills, problem-solving for everyday stress, or are experiencing major life events, we can explore and work toward your personal goals collaboratively. I have a specialty in working with individuals who don’t have a good relationship with food and are seeking to repair their body image, self-esteem, and comfortability with food.
Genuine empathy and trust are crucial for a positive relationship between a therapist and client. My approach is integrating cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and dialectical behavior therapy techniques. I focus on client centered strength-based perspectives and utilized motivational interviewing to assess assess readiness toward change.
