There is a wholeness and knowing that exists within you. Therapy is an incredibly special process of cracking that open. It is a space where you can show up and be authentically you, which is hard for most of us to do. Many of us have been deeply hurt, disappointed, or traumatized by our families, close relationships, and experiences in life. In turn we become "wounded" and are living from that space of pain or unconsciously reacting to those around us. But often through societal pressures, we walk around smiling and pretending to be happy, when internally we are battling self-criticism, depression, numbness, or anxiety.
I lovingly guide people back home to themselves. By helping individuals curiously observe and lovingly reflect on their wounded and shadow parts, I help individuals integrate these aspects of self – instead of trying to “fix” or eradicate them. In the process – I have watched people show up in their life with more joy, self-love, and connection.
My approach is warm, honest, and direct. I am not the therapist who will nod blankly and continuously ask you, "how does that feel?" I want to see real change for my clients because I honor the time, energy, and financial commitment of therapy. It is a collaborative exchange and relationship.
