My approach is warm, direct, and holistically based. I recognize and honor the inner workings of the mind, body, and soul. As Ram Dass says, "We are all just walking each other home." I believe my approach to therapy is just that. I recognize the wholeness and specialness of each person that I work with. While also lovingly holding the space to challenge and bring to light where protective patterns, old narratives, and adaptive strategies may not be working anymore.
I utilize attachment theory, EMDR, trauma informed nervous system regulation techniques, and mindfulness. I want to see real growth for you. One of the ways that I believe real change happens, is by getting into the body and tuning into the direct experience and wisdom that our bodies hold. Self-regulation depends on having a friendly relationship with it.
