I specialize in working with individuals who experience symptoms related to complex trauma, with a special focus on First Responders—including on-duty and retired Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics, Dispatchers, Forensic personnel and Military veterans. I provide somatically informed psychotherapy for people who experience Neuro-Physiological symptoms and challenges including anxiety, depression, insomnia, night mares, hypervigilence, relationship problems, chronic pain, physical health problems, parenting challenges, grief and loss, self-harm behaviors and more.
I use evidenced based therapies, and the NARM (Neuro Affective Relational Model), a mind/body therapeutic approach, when working with individuals who have difficulties such as physical and emotional self-regulation, overcoming emotional numbness and poor self-image, as well as helping those who want more self-capacity for close and intimate relationships.
