I believe understanding how my client perceives the world is essential to successful treatment. For 30 years I have helped a multitude of individuals and family groupings to find peace, resolution and happiness in many areas of their lives. I am a dedicated therapist who is present in the session and highly committed to honoring and respecting the individuals who have allowed me to work with them. I draw inspiration from Pema Chodron, Virginia Satir and Esther Perel.
I work with individual as well as couple clients. I DO NOT BILL INSURANCE FOR COUPLES COUNSELING, please see my website for more information. Individuals are often facing depression, anxiety, life/work transitions as well as grief/loss, and childhood trauma. Couples may be undergoing difficulties with communication, conflict, infidelity or parenting issues.
Areas where I have both knowledge and expertise include: relationship issues , depression, anxiety, body image, mother-daughter and parenting struggles. LGBT including all genders /non binary are respected.
