In 2006, Dr. Akintunde Morakinyo was inspired to achieve a lifelong dream to develop a private practice with a focus on children and adolescents. GIFTS has evolved into a robust mental health clinic that serves the needs of children, adults and families. We pursue the values of compassion, respect and excellence in our services. We empower our clients to unwrap and maximize their potential.
With over 20 years of experience, GIFTS has a diverse staff with varying specialties including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused interventions, grief counseling, academic support, couples and family therapy.
While most clinics provide individual and family therapy, GIFTS also delivers psychological testing services. This not only enhances the diagnostic scope of the clinical staff, it improves clients' care. We provide evaluations for children and adults. We also provide medication management services for clients engaged in therapy at GIFTS.
