I am a licensed Psychologist with over 30 years of experience treating clients who span all age groups. I have advanced training beyond my Ph.D. that includes a certificate in Psychotherapy from Adelphi University. I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative one in which the client and I work together to explore current concerns, past experiences as they may relate to patterns of behavior, roadblocks to achieving one's goals, leading to an enhanced awareness of one's personal control. I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in treating individuals and couples as well as families incorporating recognized clinical modalities based on client's needs assessment to address client's identified issues and goals. Additionally, I have over 20 years of college career counseling experience. I am a certified yoga instructor and will offer clients yoga postures and guided meditation that support treatment goals. I am experienced and comfortable working with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
