Hello and welcome to my profile. By now I would assume that you've read several profiles on the "Psychology Today" site and by this point they are probably all sounding astonishingly similar. That's got to be frustrating. I hope that the following information concerning my practice doesn't have the same effect. Let me be brief: I work with a multitude of issues and problems that relate to: couples, anxiety, depression and anger management. I also work with addictions including eating disorders. My approach can help you work through unconscious conflict (repeating patterns again and again without understanding why) as well as compulsive behaviors such as drinking, thought ruminating and habitual behaviors that are difficult to control.I can help you 'evolve' out of your particular problem. I am supportive and reality based while I can always find humor in the worst and the best of times. Together we can turn this all around and get you to where you want to be.

My therapeutic style emphasizes the importance of accepting each of my clients unique issues and needs. I strive to create a warm, safe, and collaborative atmosphere where my clients can share their emotions. Eli Rosenblatt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State. Eli received his undergraduate degree in psychology from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2002 and received his Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University in Long Island, New York in 2007. In addition to working as a therapist in his private practice and also for years in clinics, Eli also has diverse experience including working at Rikers Island, running foster care group homes for teenagers at risk and Eli has spent the past six years working at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center, a large state psychiatric center located in Brooklyn, New York.

I am here to break this stigma with you by providing services filled with compassion, support and understanding. When a client comes to me for therapy, they are seeking some way to not just share their problems but to find solutions and remedies based on their own effort. The point having therapy is for the individual to be able to find their own answer based on what works for them and created on their terms. The reason that people would want to achieve this autonomous feeling is because this develops into a security that the individual can feel confident in themselves to rely on themselves when tackling life’s problems and everyday obstacles.
