As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have particular expertise in assisting people coping with the effects of traumatic experiences and other adversities. Additionally, as a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, I know how important it is for individuals to have support during the recovery process. Sobriety is key to healing from underlying pain and suffering, and I understand the complications of trauma and substance abuse.
I specialilze in helping people heal from different types of trauma including developmental and complex trauma. I utilize a variety of interventions to address problems related to mental health including PTSD, anxiety and depression, relationships, work/school stress, and unhealthy behaviors such as substance use.
I have a special interest in working with adult survivors who have experienced and or witnessed traumatic events including domestic violence, abuse, and neglect. My approach aims to empower and support individuals through the process of recovery and healing.
