My compassionate expertise includes, Adult and Child therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and Art/Play therapy and Clinical Supervision.Together we can address the hard emotions and challenges in life. Anxiety and depression, Bipolar Disorder, Childhood issues, relationships, loss, grief, Complex PTSD, and all traumas through the lens of coping patterns and obstacles, I integrate and individualize therapy for desirable outcomes. Whether working with child or adult, I create a space welcoming feelings and fears with realistic hope and support. My work with children involves parents or at times the family for beneficial growth for all.
By appreciating the natural capacity for emotional and somatic regulation my experience as as a therapist is to facilitate growth. By increasing understanding and awareness, and new skills, relationships change with self and others. Compassionate perspectives and effective coping skills replace unproductive repetitive behavior with new insight and choices.
With wisdom and evidence based approaches, I accompany children, adults, couples and families through uncertain and uncomfortable life spaces. My style is interactive and empathic, practical and direct.
