Simply being a woman can be stressful! Add in trauma with its intrusive thoughts, and intense emotions or anxiety or depression with its worry and regrets, and it feels like your spinning out of control, it's too much. Maybe you just had a baby and you should be happy but you're anything but. No-one gets you and the mommy guilt is agony. Possibly your birth experience was even frightening and you cant stop reliving it. Tackling treatment might feel scary, but know that I "get you". I listen and will be by your side, teaching you the skills to cope so you can live the life you want to live, present and at peace.
My specialty and passion is helping women. Particularly any type of trauma, including birth trauma, also maternal mental health and depression and anxiety. I know how severely these challenges can impact your life so I utilize evidenced based therapies like DBT, trauma/compassion focused therapies, EMDR and Brainspotting that provide the relief you need.
