About
As a licensed psychoanalyst I have the training to get to the root of a person's problems. I was required to undergo my own psychotherapy before I could be licensed. I have helped all kinds of clients who come with a variety of problems involving depression, anxiety, addictions, and the like. I have also done my homework, researching and authoring 13 books on psychology. With over 45 years of experience, I know how to be of most help to people, even if they don't. Over the years I have dealt with numerous issues. I specialize in working with creative people, helping them to get unblocked; with depressed or anxious people and people with self-esteem issues; and with people who want to understand and know themselves in the Socratic or Existential sense.
I think it is important for a therapist to be neutral and unbiased. I do not have any religious or political biases and can really be there for people and allow them to be completely honest about their feelings and ideas. This is essential for trust to develop and for the therapy to move forward.
