ABowens Drug & Alcohol Counseling is a practice dedicated to providing drug and alcohol use services to individuals and families confronted with misuse, abuse, and addiction disorders in the state of Nebraska and Georgia. My practice is unique in that I, too, recover from the disease of addiction, and recently celebrated 24 years of sobriety after once losing everything except my life. I use my first-hand experience, training, education, and expertise in recovery, to help my clients on their distinctive journeys, by providing quality, person centered, trauma informed, culturally competent care, along with evidence-based approaches.

This includes performing assessment and psychological testing with multiple disciplinary teams in Primary Care, Integrated Care and mental health settings. I work with adults and young adults in individual, marriage and family therapy. My goal is to assist all clients on their journey towards healing, wholeness and harmony in their lives. I am Susan Adams, licensed Marriage and Family therapist and licensed Professional Counselor, in private practice for over 41 years. My best credential is that I have been married for 43 years and have raised one daughter, numerous cousins, and am currently owned by two wonderful Boston Terriers.
