In today's chaotic world, mental health issues have been brought to the forefront. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, abuse and neglect are just a few examples that some face on a day to day basis. Individual needs can be addressed and different types of therapies can be used in order to give someone the right tools and skills to alleviate or even eliminate their daily struggles. Mental health issues not only affect the individual but it can take its toll on families, friends, associates, and more. Seek help and feel better for you!
My professional history is a bit different from other therapists. I started my first career as a high school special education teacher (15 years). This is where I observed the increase of mental health issues so, I changed careers and became a therapist. With the knowledge and experience of both, I feel I can better serve my community.
I am all too familiar with the daily struggles that we are all faced with. I would love to help you on your mental health journey. I work with clients ages 12 and older.
