People come to counseling to alleviate some suffering or to get clarity on some confusion or path choice in their lives. I work with my clients to co-invent ways for you to accomplish these and other goals they may have. If you come as a couple I will strive to help you decode the mystery of what brought the two of you together and what your spirits need now, together and individually. These days I also work a lot with families who have kids with social and recreational screen media dependence. Please see my book on Amazon on this topic.
I pay attention to my clients' excitement, suffering, and especially strengths. My line of questioning seeks to understand and guide toward client resourcefulness, excellence, and transcendence.
I work strategically.. I schedule session to session.
I help clients change internal imagery so as to create new potentials for action.
I help clients with issues involving power, sexuality, money, and conflict. And I enjoy helping people be successful in social and power relationships at work. I am ADD myself and have respect for the power of neurobiology on personality. I see clients over telehealth and am licensed in both Washington and Oregon.
