About
I specialize in the testing and treatment of ADD/ADHD in children, teens and adults. I go beyond labels to focus on the individual, taking a holistic, person-centered approach to treatment. I don't see you as a diagnosis or set of symptoms, but rather as a person with strengths and weaknesses. I promise to treat you with respect, building trust and working together to bring more joy and success into your life. I myself have Adult ADD so I can empathize with your struggles and know what tools and tips work and which methods don't.
I know how scary it can be when you are facing a problem in your life that you can't solve by yourself. For most of us, reaching out for help is not easy. My approach to therapy centers around the belief that we need CONNECTION in order to heal.
My specialties include: ADD in children and adults, anxiety disorders, trauma, PTSD, issues of self-esteem and relational conflicts. I am also the advice columnist on the 'Huffington Post' author of the book, " The Sachs Center Guide to Adult ADD."
