Let's be real, so many people live their lives day-to-day, bottling up those hard-to-deal-with emotions or struggling to find stability with regulating themselves in a healthy, productive manner. I believe that through therapy, one can receive the emotional/mental support to achieve the goal of living a true, authentic life. The goal here is not perfection, but to at least begin moving towards a life you actually enjoy. It's time to be who you are truly meant to be.
I take a humanistic approach to therapy to assist you in learning, recognizing, and coping with specific mental health disorders or different stressful life events. I will bring in a few different lenses into the counseling space, like cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
