If you are feeling stuck, psychotherapy can help interrupt the cycle: through it, we become better social creatures and grant the ego more freedom. I work with adults and teens in Atlanta navigating mental health concerns, identity, and disconnection.
We lay the groundwork for stabilization by taking a cognitive-behavioral approach, providing you with tools for alleviating anxiety, mood disorders, grief, and/or addiction. In the presence of trauma, I favor an evidence-based practice called Internal Family Systems. At an intermediate or advanced stage, we make sense of deeper patterns via psychoanalysis.
