I specialize in and couple and sex therapy. I help couples who want to: 1. Improve communication, 2. Figure out how to move forward from pain caused by their partner's actions, 3. Improve their sexual relationship and intimacy. 4. Figure out together whether to end the relationship or save it. I'm happy to help with these and any other concerns you may bring up in session. With family therapy, I help families improve their mental health by strengthening parent-child, sibling, in-laws and other family relationships. I practice primarily from a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach, with training in family systems theory.
Here is what I bring to the table: Therapy with a couple or family in the room, compared to individual therapy, is a slightly different skillset that requires practice, training, and a bit of a knack for it. I have all these, and have chosen to narrow my focus and sharpen my skills in couples and sex therapy, and relationship therapy with families.
