George Geysen, Psy.D. is not currently accepting new clients.
About
I am not accepting new clients. This can and does change. I work best with adults who are struggling with long held assumptions, stories and beliefs and want to undo the patterns of thinking, feeling and doing that have led to the same results and struggles. I address problems with mood, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, traumatic experiences substance use and self-defeating behavior. I hope you will contact me to see if we might be a good fit in working together..
I have 25 years of academic and clinical experience as a psychologist. I have trained and worked in clinics, hospitals and private practice. I strongly believe in the connection in the therapeutic relationship to be the best way to help learn to better relate to life's difficulties and to help ease the suffering you are experiencing.
I try to be a human, first, and a therapist - helping others, second. This helps me make a stronger connection with you since, chances are, I may have had similar life experiences and can empathize with you. Either way, if you contact me, you will have my full attention and interest in your health, well being and happiness.
